Body Shop Drops Of Youth Range

Drops of Youth Serum
I started using this around 6 months ago, I read really good reviews about it and wanted to try it for myself. I wanted to find a light serum which would not upset my skin. I got it on a special offer and only paid £7. It comes in a small glass bottle and you use a pipet pump to transfer it from the bottler to the back of your hand. I found this quite difficult as it didn't seem to go into the pipet. I would moisturise my skin first and then apply it after. It immediately soaked into my skin and felt really light. It didn't feel sticky. After the first week I could see a good improvement in the skins texture it looked smoother and my pores appeared smaller.
This product however is really expensive! £24.00 for 30mls

Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate
After using the drops of youth serum i decided to try the eye concentrate, I couldn't find a good eye cream, I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and thought I would give this product a try. I actually bought this product from eBay as it was much cheaper then at the shops. It comes in a small tube with only 10 ml in it. The idea is to push the pump down so the roller ball is loaded with product and then do a figure of 8 motion around the eyes. The only problem is so much product comes out and ends up going mainly on the first eye you start with so I then end up patting the excess in to make it more even. The product does not appear to of improved my dark circles, it appears to just be another standard eye gel!
This product is £18 for 10 mls

Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
i have only just started using this product, again I ordered if off eBay for £13 because its so expensive in the shops. this product comes in a very large pot. The product is runny and sticky, your provided with a spatula so you can transfer the product from the pot onto the skin. I apply it at night time. The product however is so sticky on my face, it does not soak in at all so please be aware of this. However the product has made a difference to my skin it does look more bouncy especially my cheeks, however it does give me more spots around t T zone but these soon go after a day.
This product is £22 for 90 mls

Overall i think all the products are really expensive and you can find them cheaper on eBay or other places, however the body shop do a lot of deals and you can find different codes online which give you a lot of money off! I do think the Serum is the best product out of the 3

Make Up Remover Cleansers ( The best ones )

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

This used to be my go to cleanser for at least 7 months. It is amazing the bottle is of a fairly large size. You pump some product onto the back of your hand and then massage it onto the face using small circular motions, I usually do this for around a minute its great seeing it start removing the make up from my skin. Once I have rubbed it in I used a muslin cloth ( which is usually provided ) to clear my face, I dampen the cloth in warm water and start wiping I then rinse my face with warm water and all of my make up has gone including my water proof mascara! My face always felt clean and fresh and really it only took 3-4 minutes to complete!
The product cost is £15.50 for 100mls - This Lasted me around 2 - 3 months

Body shop Camomile Cleansing Butter

This product is completely different as it comes in a tin and a solid lump. I usually dampen my face with warm water and then I scoop a little of this product out, I rub it into my hands and then starts massaging it onto my face, it feels quite oily as I am massaging it on but it defo does the trick. I usually massage this product in for 1 minute and then I wash it off using warm water. All my make up has gone including water proof mascara which is great .

This product costs £12.00 for 90ml - This lasted me around 3 Months

No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser

This is my all time favourite cleanser, I saw it in boots a while back and when I read the product description it sounded amazing and I new i had to try it. I usually dampen my skin first before I apply the product to my face. I squeeze a small amount on to the palm of my hand and then massage it onto my face, it immediately turns to an oil and starts removing all my make up really quickly. I usually massage it in for around one minute and then I start washing it off as I splash my face with water the cleanser turns into a milk and comes off the skin quickly. This product makes my skin feel so soft, cleansed and clean. It is so worth it! I would 100% recommend this product to everyone. I have oily skin and this product is recommended for people with normal/dry however it has never made me anymore oily
.
This product costs £9.00 for 150ml

Urban Decay Naked Palettes

Urban Decay Naked Eye Palettes
I am a huge fan of the naked palettes from urban decay. I own all three. I thought I would review each one individually and talk about what i like and dislike about them and also discuss the colours of each one.

Naked the Original  ( £37 ) it comes in a soft velvet rectangular box with a brush and mirror. It has 12 neutral shades some are matte some are shimmer. My favourite shades are side car, virgin and sin. I got this palette a year ago and always take it with me every where i go. I believe you can create both day and night looks with it and the varying shade allow you to experiment with different shading.
With this palette i also received the primer potion pot, this is also fantastic is primed my eye lid ready for application and my eye-shadow did not crease all day.

Naked Two ( £37 ) is my least favourite I was not inspired by the colours and i was dissapointed when it arrived.Again it came with 12 different eye-shadow and a different brush, this one was a double ended brush which allowed for both shading and blending. My favourite shade within the palette is booty call which is a nice light shimmer. However you can still create some good looks with the eye-shadow. The packaging has also changed they have made it into

Naked Three ( £37 ) is amazing. Urban decay completely changed up what they were doing instead of going for neutral shades like the browns and greys they decided to go for a pink and gold theme. The pallet again came with 12 eye-shadow and the same brush as the second pallet. The pallet is amazing it allows you to do so many things creating really glamorous looks for both the daytime and the night time.  I have several favourite shades within this palette. strange, dust, burnout, buzz, trick and liar are all amazing and they are all shimmer. I do prefer shimmer eye shadows to matte however there are some amazing matte shades within this palette as well.

I believe these pallets are a must have in a make up kit even if you just have one you are able to use them to create a variety of different looks from smoky eyes to matte and bold. If I have to choose out of the three I would personally choose number three, I prefer pinks and golds on my eyes and you can create some very sophisticated looks with the colours provided
